About the artist:
nyco nemesis is a versatile singer/songwriter, producer, sound engineer, and visual artist. Her music transcends genres, merging sticky pop with grunge, punk and rock influences. nyco’s sonic vision explores themes of identity and self-reflection. Through her captivating soundscapes, she invites listeners to embrace authenticity and empowerment, carving a unique space in the realm of music.
The debut album SAME OLD; NEW WORLD takes listeners on an emotional rollercoaster through the depths of her psyche. Fusing alt-pop with hyperpop, metal, nostalgic 90s pop, and cinematic soundscapes, the album defies categorization, each track a new sonic chapter tied together by her raw lyricism and layered, expressive vocals. Themes of self-doubt, trauma, and escapism pulse through the record with striking vulnerability.
